• CASE OF UND PROF DR. THONG

" This is the most extreme example of mean-spirited, oppressive racism in an educational setting that I have ever encountered in my professional practice as an attorney,"  said Grand Forks attorney David C. Thompson .On January 10th, 2001 Dr. Benjamin Thong sues UND contending he was dismissed and denied certain due process rights because of his race. Judge Bohlman ordered UND to take him back and Thong essentially won his case when he proved Police Brutality at the hands of UND Police. UND settled this case for an undisclosed amount.

• At the same time Thong was accused of shoplifting cooked chicken at Super One Foods and is now on Feb. 11, fighting these theft charges in appellate Ct. in GF claiming again No Due Process. There was no chicken found-no Corpus Delicti = no Case. Convicted Anyway. A U.S. Citizen for thirty years with no criminal record, why did this happen to Dr. Thong twice in Grand Forks?
